Val — Registered Dental Hygienist
Val has been with us since 2003 and has been a hygienist for more than 14 years. Val loves easing our patients’ anxieties about their dental care so that they can get the most out of their time with us. She is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to meet so many interesting and wonderful people each day as she helps them learn new and helpful oral education. Her patients love the gentle, thorough, and informative care and coaching she provides them, and they are always telling us how amazing it is having her be a part of their dental treatment. Val loves working for Dr. Maley because of how much he insists upon the comfort of our patients and how well he explains treatments to the people he is caring for.
Val is very passionate about her animals, music, especially live concerts, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys staying healthy by exercising as much as she can — she even completed the Minnesota Iron Man in 2010!
Bonnie — Registered Dental Hygienist
Bonnie joined Dr. Maley’s practice in early 2007 and has been a hygienist for more than 20 years, much of the time in a periodontist office treating more complex cases of gum disease. She gets excited to see her patients come back with healthy progress after in-office and at-home care. Her favorite part of her job is hearing about her patients' lives as they come in year after year. When she’s not caring for patients, she loves to cook (and eat!), curling, fishing, camping and travel.
Karmen — Registered Dental Hygienist
Creating comfort and understanding and caring for her patients' needs are the reasons Karmen loves being a hygienist. Her 23+ years of experience, gentle nature and great communications skills help patients feel comfortable and confident in her care. With five children age 15 on up, she loves caring for her family and enjoys her time in the garden both at home and up north at the "tree house."
Diane — Office Coordinator
Diane brings to our office more than 20 years of dental experience and provides our patients with phenomenal service. She always makes it her priority to make sure our patients are perfectly taken care of and their questions are answered. Whether she’s helping our patients to understand their insurance coverage better or helping them figure out their financial options, Diane loves our patients and goes above and beyond to make their entire dental experience with us as enjoyable as possible.
At home, Diane is married and has two grown children, one son-in-law, three grandchildren, and a dog to look after. She loves gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family up north in her cabin.
Becky — Patient Coordinator
When you call or come into our practice, Becky’s is the first smiling face you’ll often see. Our patients love coming in a little early for their appointments just so they can spend some time with her. Becky has been in the dental field for more than 30 years, and she loves nothing more than making sure our patients are as comfortable and informed of their treatment as possible. Every day, Becky comes to work with one thing on her mind: making sure our patients know that we care about them, even after they walk out of our doors. She goes above and beyond for our patients to make their experiences with us rewarding and exciting.
When Becky isn’t in the office helping our patients, she enjoys gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Stefanie — Registered Dental Assistant
The aspect of Stefanie’s nine-plus years in dentistry she enjoys most is building relationships with patients. Serving alongside Dr. Maley through every procedure, she loves getting to know patients and making sure they’re comfortable and satisfied with their visit. Outside the office, Stefanie loves spending time with her daughter, being outside, and cooking.
Lynda — Registered Dental Assistant
Lynda is a “lifer,” having worked with Dr. Maley more than 20 of the 30 years she’s been in dentistry. Lynda’s aim is to make every patient’s experience positive, and she gets great rewards out of seeing the results of their work and the happy smile of their patients. She has completed extensive training, which allows her to expand beyond her regular assisting duties. On her off hours, Lynda enjoys being with her husband and three kids as well as gardening, walking and reading.
